Picked up this off Ebay as spares or repair for £40 - all it needed was putting back together!

works fine once I had dialled it into the non-cpu lenses on the D610

Well done Chris.
Those were very sought after lenses in the late 1970s.  The lens was very sharp and hardly any bigger than the 35mm f2.8 lens.

I wanted something sharper than the 50mm f1.8 I have and this fits the bill perfectly! I'll probably sell on the 50mm now.

The lens is spotlessly clean - no dust inside it at all, probably due to its construction, the optics are all in one unit.

Current theme is Blue
